I did the same thing when I went to Zim and picked up a spare 1.5-5x.

I bought a Trijicon TR21 and I am mounting it on my new .375H&H Safari Model 70 this week.

what a great little scope and I think it will be perfect for my Cape Buffalo hunt in June.
 
update.

the TR21 didn't fit so I bought the 1-4 Trijicon as well with the 30mm tube.

Worked perfectly.

Stuck the TR21 on an AR15 and decided to keep it as well.

great scopes those accupoints.
 
I cant figure out how to upload them. Do you have to load onto a third party site and then load here like before...if so that is too much work. LOL.

Nice buffalo, 40inch nice bosses. Great hunt .......pretty hair raising when they start to charge and you have to stop them. we got lucky in that our guy put on a good show but could have gone bad in a hurry in that thick bush. very lucky to have had the hunt we had and not been hurt. would I do it again? not sure. it was definitely a rush but following up a buffalo in the thick stuff isn't fun. In my opinion anyone who thinks it is is either lying or hasn't done it. maybe one day when I forget how scared I was when he started to come after the 3rd shot. I was lucky that I was able to kill him myself without the PH finishing it. Got luck and had a great PH. CT Safaris. Highly recommend them.
