Have done some Youtube research (take with a grain of salt) and the MRO is sounds great! It can also be had new for under $700 with a mount which is attractive as well.

Definitely have a look at one in person. I find the MRO has a fish eye effect that really screws with my vision.

I really wanted to like the MRO. I am a big fan of their optics, but to me, the distortion was very distracting. It definitely felt like 1.1 or 1.2x. I don't get that from my PRO or EOTech. I still stand by my TA33

Hey Everyone, short update.

Purchased an MRO with ADM mount and while I loved the light weight I didn't like the dot (probably my eyes?) and found the sight picture looked odd / coloured. So I sold the MRO after a few months.

Picked up an Elcan OS4x (chevron reticle) n early January and it has been great. Much lighter than than the SpecterDR and with both eyes open no problems on shorter CQB distances. As well the Canadiand made Elcan goes well on the Colt Canada MRR
