Fits perfectly and a quick easy installDoes the factory rail that comes with the marlin dark work with the MI rail?? I have an 1895 dark and was looking at adding the MI rail but wasn’t sure it would fit with the peep and rail...
I just mounted a holosun red dot on it. Midwest Industries handguard is on the way too.

If I had one of these in .357 or .44, this is the route I’d go. Red dot is good enough for 200 yards. Keeps the gun size compact and lite. Why would someone wreck what is the best part about a lever gun and put a clumsy scope on a fast reaction quick and nimble gun. Let alone one that is chambered for a pistol cartridge.

This ammo carrier looks great!! i've read you 3D-printed it, do you know if a company make something like that? No access to a 3D printer here.

Nice setup.I use a Weaver K 2.5 w/post-cross hair unit that suits me aged peepers dandy. I've used this scope on 2 Marins in .357 and a few
.458 Mag bolt rifles along with 12 ga slug tossers among numerous others. Best 60 bucks I ever spent & it ain't leavin' me till I croak.
I've used a few different red dots over the years & still run a Bushnell Holo-Sight on my 870 trap gun, but I find a 1 moa green dot unit much easier
to acquire on targets or critters. Age forces changes, sad to say.![]()

I'd call that pretty close to perfect...
