Optic Ready Metal Pistol

I’m curious . What would be the choice if still available for an Optic Ready 9mm metal pistol ?
I’m not sure I want to alter my new CZ Shadow 2 as I could if what others have said get the slide milled to accept an
optic

I already have a well used Shadow 2 so I picked up an Shadow 2 Optics Ready.

Obviously it comes with irons and the optic can / will be added later.

Finding one is your first hurdle......

I belive black box customs will mill a slide for a red dot.

I got a Universal plate from a sponsor that fits the dovetail in my Shadow 1. No issues with it after a couple years.

Here is the one that fits a Shadow 2

So if I’m understanding this correctly the rear sight would come off my Shadow 2
and the plate would be attached ,then the red dot attached ?

I think I found an aftermarket one but they are really pricey , but probably cheaper than an original CZ one

DoubleTap Sports is a great firm, and I’d be happy buying that plate from them if I were in the market for a universal dovetail mount.

A couple years doing run and gun with my Shadow 1 and the plate has stayed solid. The optic has not moved off of zero even when grabbing the optic to rack the slide.

Sorry fellas . Life gets in the way of things we would like like to do . I’ve had a few things needing priority . First things first !

I bought the pistols just before the Tyrant Trudeau put the hammer down so you speak and just getting to things now

He did one of my Shadows, but I heard the shop he was using shut down or something.
