I’m curious . What would be the choice if still available for an Optic Ready 9mm metal pistol ?
I’m not sure I want to alter my new CZ Shadow 2 as I could if what others have said get the slide milled to accept an
optic
Thank You !

An optics ready replacement slide is just over $400 (gunnutz site sponsor shop) To get your slide cut would be around $200.

That’s not a terrible price.

The mounts that use the rear site dovetail aren’t as solid as a direct slide mounts. Additionally, they sit higher than slide mounts and that takes some getting used to. The direct mount optics are, in my opinion, easier to acquire quickly. (As in acquiring the sight picture)

Depends on the optic or plate.

I cannot keep my Riton tight on my NS S2 RMR plate. IMHO junk and not worth the money.

Before the provincals. I had to pull and go back to irons. As the screws would back out with locktite. Tried new screws, made sure they were not bottoming out.
