optic ready pistol options?

I am looking for suggestions on an optics ready pistol and red dot sight to go with it.

If anyone has personal experience with OR pistols I'd appreciate your thoughts.

My eyesight is not what it once was and I am finding iron sights harder and harder to see. I don't want to give up pistol shooting so am considering a move to a gun with a red dot sight.

Requirements:

1. OEM mounting system. I do not want to have to buy a gun and then have a gunsmith modify the slide.

2. Readily available mags, holsters and parts

3. No competition specific models

4. ability to change grip size to fit with backstraps or grip panels.



The pistols that come to mind are

Glock Gen 5 MOS

FN509 tactical

HK SFP9 OR

What else is out there?

Number one for price would be the G17 gen5MOS. Fits all of your criteria. You could also opt for the G34MOS.

Second choice is the venerable CZ Shadow 2 optics ready pistol. Also fits all of your criteria, but a bit more money.

P320 RX, P320 PRO. If money is going to be an issue the RX provides you Romeo1 dot for you. I have been shooting my glock 19 with rmr for a year now. I can tell you at first that it your eyes will try to find the dot on the optic lol. But after practice you will get use to it and you will be super happy hitting targets.

Canik TP9SFX and the Walther PPQ optics are 2 other options.
The Canik is very reasonably priced.

The IWI Masada is a new optics ready entry and also well priced.

I can confirm nice triggers on the Q and Canik

Walther Q5 Match or Walther Q4 Tac are 2 great options. Only problem is mags are expensive and not much aftermarket support.

Thanks guys. Keep the suggestions coming. I am not concerned about price. I have several pistols that will be going up for sale to cover off the cost of a replacement.

The gun I really want is simply not available in Canada, a G19 Gen 5 MOS. I have a G19 already and would love to be able to use the mags and parts I already have. But I am not really interested in importing one with a non OEM barrel.
