Optic Suggestion for HKMR308

I would not waste my money on the Mark 8 optic for your intended purpose, this is the Mark 6 3-18x44 H58 Horus reticle.

That little thing is 3-18x44!! Wow. That is a sweet little package.

Almost 4" eye relief and just under 12".

1.25" longer than a 1-4 Short Dot and a smidgen shorter than a NXS 2-10!

The price is not too crazy either compared to other higher end choices.

FYI once exported on proper paperwork it can be sent back referencing the original export paperwork with ease.

Great News! Irunguns is the alternative to Korth/Leupold Monopoly. Now time to put away more funds for the MK6.

Have you decided yet Leibermuster?

Actually I think before I do anything is get an extended rail for my MR308 before I do anything... Plus I ordered another T-1 off OST and have a few backorders first so I will wait a few months before pulling the trigger, no real rush it seems...Of course RRSP season does not help either...

I get the sarcasm, really I do, but there are many great optic makers around the world, and the S&B 1-8 is not available and will not be for at least another year...The leupold is very tempting and I almost put the order in a few nights back but decided to hold off...I'm not going to rush on this besides I just spent a tone off money on another item already and have many small items that are adding up and I don't mean my 2nd KAC lower t picked up already either so I think waiting is a good idea...Heck I would love an SR25 and could do that too but I would be in the hole and no suitable optic for either...hahhaha

There are a lot of good options out mentioned by cgn memeber sin this thread and I'm considering them all.... It is nice to see PR now in Nova Scotia and there glass is nice but they had some problem down in the states but now being owned by a new owner that is very smart and capable and moving to Canada I have to see if they are going to come out with there 1-8 or not and after all I am Canadian so I do like to buy Canadian when I can.

Really I wish I could buy them all...
