Optic suggestions

Need to scope a Rem 721 in 300 H&H looking for some opinions on a hunting scope with this rig. My first 300 so a little unsure what I want on it.

I'd go with something in a 3-9x40 or 4.5-14x50

I would stay away from any of the cheap crap. Bushnell elite are rated for the recoil of your caliber. 2.5-10 is a great scope in the 4200 line

If you have a 721 in 300 H&H, that is a pretty nice period-specific rifle that more than a few guys would like to have. If it were mine, I would find a good scope of the same vintage, Bausch & Lomb, Lyman, Redfield, Weaver, something from the same era, and never look back.

It will make a really fine hunting outfit, and will only increase in value.

Bushnell is no longer offering the 3200 and 4200 scopes....they just have a single scope in the 1" Elite line now.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I tend to agree with Why Not in that I would llike a more period correct scope the trouble is finding one. I will keep on looking. Again thanks to everyone.
