Optic to low on the Tavor, anyone know a good place to get a riser?

that was quick, I bought one of them when I was out there Monday the 17th for my buddy and just this past Monday the 24th I grabbed a bolt gun and saw one still on the wall. I guess the words out.

Are you referring to the bushnell T-dot? ( Acog lookalike ) If I'm correct and that's the sight you using get yourself a couple of 1/2" picatinny risers, you could get away with one but having two will give it the same aesthetic look as the built in rail. You can grab them for about $20 each and that should give you the height your looking for.

yup that's the one. So your suggesting I get enough rail riser to go the full length of the tavor rail? I think 1/2" is exactly what I need, I found this one on eBay for $18.90...its 85mm long and 1/2" high. The optic is 78mm long so I figured it was a good fit.

Nailed it.

I checked that out but it wont work for what iv got...

What's the closer to ideal optic height for a Gen 2 Tavor:
(The Gen 2 Integrated BUS are ~1.55")

30mm ADM Recon-H 1.93" above top of rail to centre of optic
30mm ADM Recon-S 1.47" above ...

Would the 1.47" or the 1.93" height be best for mounting a 1-4 scope on a Gen 2 Tavor?

Would there be any reason to steer clear of the "H" height, as it will position an optic closer to an AR height, when measuring from the comb?
