Optics advice

Hey guys,
Got a vz-58 with the nea top handguard and I was wondering what type of sight to put. I had a Bushnell TRS-25 on it but it broke. Not sure why it stopped working. Didnt have a chance to try it on this rifle.

I wanted to look into getting another optic, preferably something with some magnifying power.

Problem is lengh, cant really put on a long scope.

Got any advise? Some cheap too. Around 200$ or less if possible.

Doesnt have to be illuminated.

If you want new, Marstar (and I'm sure other site sponsors) has some Ncstar compact 1-4x and 1-7x scopes in that price range. Can't vouch for their quality.

Barring that, you may have to hit the EE for used compact optics.

I believe there is a Primary Arms 4x optic in the EE now for sale at 300$ bit more money but reviews seem great on the optic itself
