Optics for a Ruger American ranch

Looking to get a Ruger ranch in 762x39
Max distance I will be shooting is maybe 150 yards
What would be a decent scope for around $400.00

I have a leupold vx freedom 2-7x33 on mine. Nice little scope.

I am liking the primary arms 3X red dot. Not decided yet but it’s in the top.

good choice but make sure the red dot is not covering half your target at 150y

I have a 5.56 version coming in and a spare Bushnell 3200 10x40 kicking around. Good enough for my application.

Well I went with the primary arms one and the eye relief is to long so can’t get a good sight.
Now I’m thinking of going with this set up.
It’s a bit more than I want to spend but I also have a X95 so this set up would work well for it to.
Think this would be good and able to get a good eye relief?

The Vortex is nice but its heavy

I have a bushnell 1.5-5 on my 300 Blackout it works well.

The Leupold mentioned above would be a perfect fit as well

I believe that AR style mounts will be much too high on your ranch. I have been using the $25 weaver quadlocks with good success. Probably low?
BTW the vx freedom is a nice scope to get behind, also the Redfield revolutions.
