Optics for my Tavor - Eotech + Magnifier vs. ACOG

I use irons or red dots out to 300m to hit steel gongs without issue, but for any precision work I'll use magnification.

What type of ammo do you use to reach out effectively to 300m?

Sorry I should have clarified. I use my Swiss arms with irons out to 300 and a 10.5" AR with aimpoint micro out to 300. I use my 11.5" VZ with a TRS25 out to 200 no problem, but 300m is tough with the rainbow trajectory of 7.62x39.

For the sig and AR I use norc or AE stuff for plinking. For the VZ I use Czech surplus. I never did have any luck getting any type of consistent accuracy out of my tavor, regardless of the ammo I tried.

I've tried a bunch of different optics on my Tavor, and like others here, settled on the SpecterDR. Awesome optic.
