I am new to after market chassis systems and I have it narrowed down to a few. 2 of them are specifically Cadex, partly because its canadian and partly because I like the setup.

I have it narrowed down to the Urban Strike system, and the Field OT system. The main difference is where the optics mount. The Urban Strike system has an integrated rail for the optics, and the Field OT uses a rail mounted to the rifle actions.

Just because I have Cadex listed does not mean Im not interested in other suggestions.

One advantage of chassis mounted optics is you can confirm torque on all important fasteners without removing your scope, something you can't do with an action mounted rail.

Loose rails seem to screw a shooter over at every match I attend.

some people don't like having the scope mounted to the chassis due to the fact that if the machining of the chassis isn't perfect then your scope could be off...but for me, i have had my rail loosen off and had to pull the scope off and re zero anyways so....i would personally just go with whichever you prefer and use a thread locking compound as needed...i just used blue locktite on my savage but there are specialty guntite ones that you can buy as well....

As far as checking your screws, a dab of coloured nail polish or two white sharpie marks will make it visible if they've backed out (assuming you have enough clearance to see) but Loc-tite usually does the job just fine.
