Optics on KAC 14.5" SBR?

I run a Leupold Mk6 1-6 on mine -- a decent 1-4 or 1-6 gun will give you decent close in effectively (albeit not as fast as a CCO, but within a very close margin) , with the ability to PID targets at distance and engage effectively.

Run the Variable on a higher mount (IVO of 1.93" high centerline over rail) - this gives you better results in close - as your head is position more vertical - and you do not lose SA and balance - bigger HoB - but knowing your POA/POA from 0,5,10,15,25,50,75, 100, is important anyway

I just have a very high opinion of my KAC SR15 Mod 2.... Coupled to my DD MK18 it is a dynamic duo... JP.

Leupold Mk6 1-6 is an optic I would love to jump on at some point but for $2500+ or whatever it is, all hold off. I have trij on mine and all stay with that for now.

Look at the Vortex 1-6x it is a pretty decent price - and has done exceptionally well in user eval
