optics on nea upper handguard. what would you run

definetly a reflex sight of some kind is best. i am quite hard on my stuff.

that eliminates just about all holographic type sights except eotech, as most have unprotected emitters that can get blocked by dirt just when you need em most

which leaves tube type red dots comp m4 is too bulky for a forward mount, m3 is maybe with the right ring setup, t1/h1 micro i am not sold on

and eotech xps 2 which i have not seen in person

not interested in vortex or any chinese stuff like lucid etc.

I've beaten a Bushnell TRS-25 around with no issues. If it craps out I'll replace it with a Micro.

I personally love the look that Pooker here on CGN is or has run on his (I hope he doesn't mind me posting this picture, but I saw it in another thread here somewhere.) Ever since I saw this picture I have been trying to get my hands on a Burris FastFire II. I just never seem to have the funds when one comes up, or I have the funds, and everyone is sold out...

I run aimpoint micros on mine. They are an ideal short range optic for this rifle/mount

The TRS25 cowitnesses with the irons on my CZ. It's held up fine for me so far.

Bushnell 1x32 T-dot. I know it looks odd, but it works very well for me.

TRS-25 can't beat them for the price and what they do(even though I had one get moisture inside and become unusable). Or try the aim point micro.

fake aimpoint micro. so far its a beast. I like the fast fire as well but I am too rough on my guns for that item.

yes i would love to run a ff or doc optic type sight but from what i have read they cannot take being banged around too much.

i wish the eotech exps series were a bit smaller

I'm using a Bushnell Trophy 6MOA dot because I happen to have it sitting around. Does the job.
My Aimpoint Pro is on the AR15 with AR mount. Would sit too high on the 858.

I have three TRS-25's and they have been very good so far. Hey, Aimpoints would be great, but the price is crazy.

I have three trs-25's on rifles, all work great! Best optic for the buck, hands down. Nice and low too.

Aimpoint Micro H2, 4MOA, I was worried that 4MOA would cover too much target downrange then I remembered how the CZ really shoots.
