Optics on SR-22

Just wondering what optics seem to be working the best with the SR-22. I notice the factory rail requires high rings to set a standard scope high enough to get it to eye level but bore sighting then becomes an issue. I'm interested in using the gun for plinking and some gopher blasting. Any suggestions welcomed.

I currently have a Bushnell rimfire scope with the taller rings. Yes bore sighting is an issue however it works perfect for plinking gophers.

I recently put a Bushnell banner 4-12x40 AO on mine and i'm loving it. I was a bit worried about not putting a little more into the scope and gotten a higher model. So far this is perfect for me. Definitely needed the high rings though. I had a Bushnell red dot on my SR22 before this, but I like the scope on it better.

You need at least 9 x magnification and there is no need to spend big $$ for a rimfire. I just took what I had in my closet and so far it works great.

I got mine to use for cheap service rifle practice so I've put my MR/T 2.5-8x on it. The ARMS #35 mount makes it an easy switch between rifles:

I've got an Aimpoint clone on mine (Sightmark). It does the job however the battery life is horrible. I'm thinking I might move up to a Vortex Sparc...I've only heard good things about those.

I've got a Bushnell red dot on mine, had to put two risers on the rail at $30 a pop, so that kinda sucked... But other than that I don't think I need any magnification considering how well its been shooting.

I went with fake troy battle sights.

I also just mounted a 3-9x40 Bushnell but with low rings I have to mash my head down into the stock to be able to see (not the proper cheek weld I was taught to use) I'll be buying some high rings ASAP.

anyone have a scope setup that looks like this in terms of size and length? I like the way its mounted up, hopefully it's inexpensive and I can put it on my new SR22
