I need sugestions for Optics.....either red dot or Magnify...
I have one of those built in Handgaurd upper receiver for my AR-15

Well first off - I'd ditch the A1 upper for something a little more current.

If you have an A1 sight - best learn to use it as-is. You can put forward mounted red dots and whatever - but if you have a fixed carry handle you are limited in my opinion.

Yea...I kinda went optic hunting and find myself super limited to sights.....I guess thats what you get for Mystery box.....LOL!!!

I guess so far Red dots is the way to go...

With that fixed carry handle, it will have to be a red dot or low power prism scope with low mount.

Lots of dots to choose from. Vortex has a few. Primary arms. Holosun. I have a few different vortex sparcs among other Things. One thing with dots is to go try them.if you have any eye issue/astigmatism even if it's kid and you don't know about it it can make the cheaper and sometimes the more expensive dots bloom on you. The prism is better option

Only heard good things about them! Solid budget red dot. You can go with TRS 25 also. Amazing budget red dot.

JTF 2 used to use a forward mounted red dot, just put it on the rail forward of the handle- it's actually very quick, not particularly precise, though

The 'gooseneck' mounts used the hole in the carry handle - similar to the rail i see in the top left of your photo (hello chin weld!). I would actually suspect using the handguard rail to be better than those older mounts for holding zero?

Either way - looks like a nice barrel. Too bad the rest of your build is ghetto.

yea...barrell is Meple ridge Armoury 223 wylde....free float is decent.....but the rest....yea...gonna just leave it there....

Surprisingly shooting it was pretty smooth....not to mention i hit 2 out of like 40 trying to use only one sight......i think i hit 2.......

You can mount an ACOG on the carry handle.

Good Day. I bought a Marlin 45-70 gs. Open sights. Eyes are aging. Any suggestions on a laser sight that might take the recoil. Plan to shoot 100 yards or less. Any info appreciated.
