I am not an expert, but I don't think that parallax and focus are exactly the same thing. I checked the specs on the respective websites and the Vortex claims 50 yards to infinity and the Bushnell claims 25 yards to infinity. However, on my Vortex 6.5-20X50PA with BDC reticle, the PA wheel will go a little bit beyond 50, but I don't know if it will make it to your 25 yards.
I used to shoot Bushnell for years, and thay are decent glass. However I had a couple that were a bit shoddy right out of the box (which could happen to anyone) and I had a couple of warranty problems too, the biggest problem being the length of time to get service. I know shoot Vortex exclusively, and haven't had a bad one yet, and the two times I had minor problems they fixed me up real fast.
According to the specs, these two scopes are comparable. I have not looked through that exact Bushnell scope, but like I said I do own the Vortex you asked about. It has very clear and bright glass, accurate tracking on the reticle and returns to the zero setting after dial ups. I could not tell from the Bushnell web site, but the Vortex is made on a 30 mm tube, it also has resettable zero on the adjustment turrets, and an Unconditional No Fault Lifetime Warranty. Plus it is a few hundred bucks less.
