I've been quite a fan of a Merkel I just bought. I'd recommend looking at what they have to offer. Very similar to Blaser, which is also a great choice. Mine has the base level grade 4 wood, and it is quite nice. If you get 7+, the wood is truly fantastic. Hopefully someday I'll get another with very high end wood.
