options for rifle length free float hadguards

I'm thinking of doing up an MDI SLR with a 19 or 20" barrel with a rifle length gas system and would like to use a FSB (think C7A2 but possibly heavier barrel profile). I'd like to use a free float handguard (preferably mlok but a quad rail would work if there's no good mlok option). I know the DD Omega 12.0 is an easy drop in option that works with the delta ring (and I have the Omega 7.0 on my 6920 and like it) but its discontinued. Is the easiest option to just get a 12" mlok free float handguard (say MI?) that uses it's own barrel nut? I've never installed an AR barrel with an FSB before, just an adjustable one so I'm not super sure on how it all works together (as in install barrel, install handguard, then gas tube and last the FSB?)? Appreciate all help

Any 12" rail should fit a rifle length FSB gas system, once you drill the barrel and the FSB for a taper pin, rest of the installation is no different than a regular gas block.

Better yet get a DD clamping FSB or a YHM folding FSB.
