The Ontario Rifle Association just completed Service Rifle Match #3 at Connaught Range. Weather conditions were pretty much perfect, not too hot and no rain. Even the wind was gentle by Connaught standards.
Several different CAF teams as well as significant showing of civilian shooters made up the group of 36 shooting participants. As in SRm1, the format was revised to 3 relays instead of 4 meaning we got through the entire CAFSAC SR course of fire in one day (21 sub-stages, 225 rounds total including sighters). Following the match the range was cleaned up and we were in the mess by 1700.
A big thanks to all the participants who followed directions smartly and to the range staff for keeping things running smooth and on time.
