ORA Annual Matches

Well it was a very wet day at the ORA provincials. For Fclass we managed to complete the 300 and 500 yd matches. The 900 yd match and 1000 yd team match were cancelled. I know of 1 clean score of 100 and 1 99 and a few 98's. Yours truly shot a 96 with 11Vs.
To be wetter than I was, I would have had to jump into a lake. My rifle is soaking in wipe out. I hope it's drier tomorrow.

Well that's one thing I certainly don't miss... thoughts of wearing a wetsuit. Best of luck to all those Fer's who are participating. See a lotta new names and a lot of old familiar ones missing cause they're shooting stuff elsewhere. (US)

Norm you need to get the lead outta that barrel(s)!... I'm afraid to ask if there's rifling left in any of them.. well?

Well it is all said and over, as a first time shooter I held my own. As many have said it was wet Friday, but added the fun!!! All the results are now up on the ORA web site. NORM I can only improve next year, so watch out Skewes in on the move.

I had a great time as well. I think I managed to hold my own well. The stock 308 savage shooting FTR shot better than I did even managed to get a 50/50 with it at 500yards yesterday.

I tied Norm for the Lt Gov but as Norm had 15 V bulls I missed the last spot. So need to do better next year. All the best to all going on to Ottawa.
