I am guessing there was about 50 years age differential between the TR winner and the F-Class Champ (Roger Romeses and Don McGuinnis).

Don was driving a 7 McGuiness. (270 WSM necked up to 7mm, launching 180 gr Bergers) Velocity was "adequate".

Here are some pictures taken over the weekend.

As always a great memorable weekend. Thanks for taking and sharing the pics.

Don's win was well earned and deserved .A great example of one of Canada's real Gentleman Shooters. In addition to the LtGov 's, he also placed first in the Ottawa and Canada Dry Aggregates (basically "all matches" agg) among other victories.

Great to see some new and old faces out on the mounds, who also turned in excellent performances, taking home good memories and medals.
The F Class ranks continue to grow .
I think match organizers and volunteers are to be commended on another fine annual Championship.
Time to rest up for Ottawa.

Nice job Don and Roger! I can only echo Gord's assessment of Mr. McKinnis. Don's one of the good guys! Did his barrel stay tight ?;-)

how did F/Tr shake out?

Completely agree, Gord -- a great weekend all around and good to see everyone again. Drove home through pouring rain though, SO glad we weren't shooting in that!

A finer gent could not have won F class, he was on fire for the 3 days for sure.

Prizes were exceptional, 2 barrels from Rob McLennan, bullets from Berger and gift certificates from Ellwood Epps, $ 150.00 a piece and the cash as well.

Next year should be even better.:)

No question, it was great to shoot with Don, and all the other experienced shooters this past weekend.

No question Don owned the match, great work by a great shooter, and a superb gentleman.

Well Done Don!!!

One of the finest sportsman in all of Canada. A True Gentleman. It has been an honor competing with him over the years.

X2 and your in same class Bob, I had the pleasure of shooting a string with Don, he really is a fine fine gentlman, and he knows how to steer those 180gr Bergers
