Ora cqb 2018

I didn't see any actual live links to Practiscore in the first post..... but it was easy enough to find after a brief search... https://practiscore.com Must have originally missed that on my first read of it... apologies for the brain fade... LOL.

As 'wicked_police' mentioned, above, registration appears to be closed for both CQBm3 for this weekend and the upcoming CQBm4 in July as well.... ???

July 4 match is back open, configuration mistake on my end... thats what you get for letting me copy and paste.

Registration closes a week in advance of the match, conveniently when match fees are due. After that I can register people manually.

A big thank you and shout out to all who made this match possible.

As a newbie participant to this event, all I can say is that this was a "total blast" and an "absolute hoot to shoot" !!!

Cheers!

What type of muzzle device is everyone using. I have a 7.5 inch barrel and I can guarantee you that it's not fun being beside it when it fires. I'm using a muzzle brake on it atm. Should i put a blast shield or just get a linear comp

Shooters,
Please make sure to register any guests/spectators that will be eating lunch at CQBm6. If you are shooting you are also buying lunch. I anticipate a cost of around $30 on top of the normal match fee. Bring all the guests you want but you need to register them in order for them to eat.

Confirmed that lunch will be supplied by This Little Piggy Went to Market, same as previous years. The cost will be $30 per person

Menu will be;
Garden Salad
Roasted Potato
Baked Beans
Back Ribs
Ginger Ale Can Chicken
Dinner Rolls

Please ensure that when you register you include the number of guests/spectators you are brining for lunch.

Thanks
DINK

:D Nom nom nom. It's great to sit around with everyone and visit in a non-timed manner and have some good foods!

Will there be a 2020 schedule posted?

Cheers

I'm so glad you asked! yes! there will be. The dilemma I have presently is that I submitted my dates along with the Service Rifle, and Precision Rifle dates in November. The ORA has submitted dates to the base at some point, the update I got was early January with the dates thaat were requested. Just yesterday I sent a reminder to the ORA leadership that the first CQB date I requested is less than a month away, and we need to know if we have a range or not.
I storngly encourage everyone to attend the ORA AGM on Saturday, March 14th at, Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 13, located at 1577 Kingston Rd., Scarborough, Ontario. It will be a full day starting with the old Council meeting at 0930 hrs, followed by the AGM commencing at approximately 1130 hrs followed by the New Council meeting that will begin within a half hour after the completion of the AGM. We'll break for lunch around 1300 hrs.

Thanks DINK
