ORA CQB 2019 season update

You can shoot one ORA event annually as a guest. It's worth the membership. We have 8 weekends with CQB matches Saturday and short range practices on Sunday. 6 weekends with Service matches Saturday and Precision rifle matches Sunday. Plus all the other disciplines. :p

I still have a hard time seeing value in membership. I'm only interested in one disciple and would have to shoot 75% of the matches to break even on visitor fees.

I went as a guest last year to a CQB match and I can tell you it is a high paced shoot-a-rama! It is a lot of fun but I too have issues with joining, mine however are two young kids and a wife that works 12 hours rotating shifts, so I would not be able to make to it a lot of the events. If my wife was 9-5 mon-fri, I would do it in a heart beat. While I was there to compete against myself and the clock, there is no where else you get this kind of experience for the cost. All the competitors I spoke with were super friendly, I had a firearm issue (my fault not the sig m400!) and two different guys offered a loaner rifle so I could finish the day. Top notch guys and sporting event!

apologies, Match 2, and all matches are confirmed at this time. Unless we get bumped last minute. I'm on the road for work and don't have access to my normal email, to send a reminder. I'm looking to see if there is a way I can do that from the hotel. Otherwise I'll be home Monday and send out reminders then, since i forgot to make time before I left.

I do need an RSO and ARO. We only have one ARO volunteer at this time.

Thanks,
DINK
