It was a Great day for shooting, heavy rain on the drive up which gave us a great overcast day to keep the sun gods from burning us.
With the "Tim-Fu" magic we were able to keep the rain gods away too!
Great cool weather during the match. We were almost all gone by 12:30 today.
Doing the stats I've noticed that all of us (except me) have steadily increased in scoring. Great job!
Many thanks to the score card runners, stats helper and all who cleaned the range today!

Note to self when lending a pistol show the user how to use it (sorry)!

We do have a few spots still open for CQBm8-Nov1 and CQBm9-Nov29

All have a great weekend and see you at CQBm7

I have lost track of how many times I have been driving up to Borden in the morning, watching my window wipers go back and forth, while reciting my mantra "It doesn't rain at Camp Borden". And sure enough, it is not raining at Camp Borden.

Today was wonderful. Excellent light, not hot, and dry.

The score are getting so good (except mine, which are receding). I can recall when a score of 350 might win. Now, a 450 might not.

For all the guys who don't get their picture taken, sorry. I spend one relay shooting, one as safety and one bombing up. So only 1 or 2 relays get their picture taken. Fortunately, they are all the good looking models pr prowess and decorum.

Two guys volunteered not to shoot, so they could run the score cards over to stats. This was a wonderful gesture.

Another fantastic day. Great weather, great guys, great organizers. Thank you all!! I've also shot one of my highest scores yet to boot. Now I have to really work on my pistol shooting, I still suck at that :bangHead:

405 was my best score yet. Everyone is improving. Soon it will be one or two points separating medal winners.

Good times were had by all! :D

Thanks to Ganderite for posting all those pictures. A great job! Lots of great fun with this awesome community! :)

Hope to see you all at the CQB Championship in Oct 4, 2014!

Cheers,
Barney
