Twenty-nine participants had a great day of a smooth and almost flawless match.
Only two stoppages. Weather cooperated with partly cloudy and not a hot day. The scores were great, and people all around had a lot of fun.
As frustrated as the six nebbies were they still enjoyed themselves. They will be back. Thanks goes as usual to Tim, Terry who brought the equipment, and Sandy who did the stats, again. See you all at the championship!

wish I could have made this one......hope ya'll had a good time

Boltgun

Perfect weather. Dry and not too hot.

Thanks for giving us ordinary shooters a chance.

I took pictures of the "Gucci" kit of the shooters. If you are considering joining us, this will give you an idea what guys are using.

You could start with a just pistol holster and mags stuffed in your pockets.

CQB games are awesome. Some say the most fun with clothes on.
Imagine if they could market board games to garner interest.
CBQ Clue...Professor Tim...in the classroom with the holy hammer.
Close Quarter Battleship.
Modified Prone Twister.
Suggestions welcome.
Thank you to all for a good day.

We had a few Dairy Queens "DQs" because Tim has cut the time short on parts, and some of the newbees cant get their shots off quick enough. Remember the saying: First get good, then get fast. So here's a suggestion for those who are willing to try. Use half the number of rounds for a match. Shoot 10 instead of 20. Use the time to aim and get that round into the 5. There would be no temptation to blast away, not as much pressure to get them all in, and then just get DQed.

I plan to do just this in the late October event, just to see what my score will be shooting half the rounds and being more precise.

I wanted to thank everybody for making me feel welcome at my first CQB match. I will change my batteries next time and turn up the volume so I can hear the STOP command. That one shot after the STOP was costly in points!

Also, special thanks to RIFLEDUDE for walking me through the rules and imparting some impressive CQB advice.
