ORA CQBm9 AAR

Forty shooters, with eleven newbies braved the zero temperature to have a great day. The sun warmed us by mid-morning. The new shooters were paired with senior shooters to show them the ropes and get them up to speed as we wrapped up a fast paced match just before noon. Scores in the last few matches were much higher than in the beginning of the year. Coming out regularly to CQB does pay off.

Another great day. Cool but sunny, it was nice way to finish the season. I want to thank Tim and everyone who gives their time and effort to make these matches happen. Looking forward to next year. Hope to see everyone at the AGM in March.

Was a fun day for me as staff as well. Good to see senior shooters so willing and able to help out the newbies.

I for one saw a marked increase in new shooters comfort, execution and confidence in the match compared to the practice. Lots of learning going on.

Sorry I missed the match. I am waiting for surgery in early December. My prostate is getting reamed out.

Then i will be able to sprint with you kids.

Failing that, I will bring my walker.

What an awesome season! Lots of trouble to work out with my equipment, but had lots of help along the way. Tim's time crunching has really improved my operating and groupings as the year went on. Hope to see you all out next year, and more. Everyone should work on rounding up some shooters for next season.
