Just a reminder that Match 2 is being held this coming Sat.July 5
Be at the Mons gate for 8am sign in.
Also weather forcast warm and lotsa sun so water and sunscreen!!
No word on how many Black Window spiders have been found on the
mounds ,but bug repellant not a bad idea.

Messup ended up ...

having us shooting on Vimy Range instead of Mons so full match couldn't take place.Still a great day to spend shooting.
To compensate for screw up we "Precision Shooters" have been given the use of the Mons Range this coming Saturday July 5 (see note under precision matches on CGN)
This will be a day of mostly deliberate shooting rather than agony snaps and we will be taking the range back bit by bit to the 1000Yrd mark.
Important that you contact ED and let him know in advance if you are coming.

Yup...I'll claim Senior's Moment/brain fart.
I meant to type July 12,this Sat we have the range on Mons cause of the screw up on July 5,
The 19th was cancelled as they had us scheduled for Amiens (not Mons) which is under construction and too short anyways.
When I talked with Ed, this Sat the 12 will be run as a full day Precision/LR practice rather than a full on match.
Not sure about replacement date for the 19th,
Will post as any new info (not rumors) is rec'd.
Important to let Ed know if you are coming.

Cool, i just heard from Ed.
400 yd. runningman then 600 Deliberate in the morning.
800 del. and 1000 del. in the afternoon.
I need to check my drop calc.'s ont for the new powder so i'll likely be out.
I tried the RE-15 as Norm suggested and it seems to work quite well at shorter ranges.
