ORA Precision Rifle Match 1 - Sunday 13 April 2014 Debrief here! STATS Up!

Just got back from the shoot. I had a great time. Thanks to Barney and John for running things, and thanks to the butts operators as well. Looking forward to the next one :)

ORA Precision Rifle Match 1 - Sunday 13 April 2014 Register here!

I hope all of you got home safely. Nothing like a great day shooting , great humour, Fabulous community, and a safe trip home. Unpacking the vehicle and getting ready for dinner. You guyz were great. Many of you laughed at my jokes!

How awesome is that?

Will debrief later. Dinner calls.

Cheers, Barney.

Great day, rain even held off. Thanks to Barney and John for their time.

Right as I sat down to read this I hear rain hitting my roof. Its pissing out there now. Maybe the chaplain from last week prayed for no rain for us today. Its good to have a fellow gun nutter in that line of work LOL

Okay, I'm playing with Excel and Word right now. Never worked or taught these platforms before so It's cut and paste and see how the formating cooperates... Will be playing with it lots for the next hour. Here goes:

More coming soon.... Okay, I'm quitting here. This is a royal typing PITA. I'm gonna try Excel. At school I teach with Quattro Pro that's bundled with WordPerfect, FREE Software. Welcome to our school board. We work with what they give us. That's why I know nothing about Excel.

Barney...try saving the excel file as a tab delimited txt file. Then copy and paste (from the text file) into your post. I think that May space your values out and keep in columns for easier reading. Don't play with excel much lately but...

Yup I will play with it tonight and see what happens. I need to learn about this software with some real works scenarios like this stats program.

As you have witnessed, "I'm just a Religion Teacher." And you clinic guys will get the humor in that declaration when I visited the 2PPCLI sniper school in 2012 after my Fort McMurray clinic. Yuk yuk yuk

Cheers, Barney

Now for the rest of the new folks who were with me on PR Clinic 5/6 April and then shot the PR1 Match on 13 Apr, what did you think of your new found skills and comfort level?

The reason I'm commenting is that all of you dudes who were at my clinic sure looked at home during the competition. Your comfort levels were where we needed to be, so that once I introduced the score cards, scoring procedure, you guys jumped on board right away. Except for that idiot scorekeeper for MinosL and SteveVK who did not write the fzcking total and Vbull count at the bottom right side of the score card. :D

I'm noticing that all of you felt right at home, too! :) That's a good thing!

Cheers,
Barney
