ORA Provincial Championships, TR & F class at Ottawa Aug 7-9 Anyone entered ?

I will be there shooting TR. Hopeful that my new barrel will be here by then. Thinking about shooting the .223 at the shorts, out to 600m then .308 at the longs.
And will be back there for the DCRA Matches starting the following weekend. The 7.5 hour drive each way sucks, wouldn't be that bad of a drive if it wasn't for having to drive through the GTA.

I heard there were approximately 9 F'ers going. I know 3 of them. I would expect that the Ottawa/Quebec area shooters will show up in good numbers...it's just a day trip for them.
Spectators are welcome, however you will need a spotting scope to be able see the spotting disc on the target to know what is going on. Watching a rifle match is about as much fun as watching grass grow or watching paint dry. However there is time between relays to talk to the shooters and ask questions. If the F'ers won't talk to you, slide on over and talk to the guys shooting iron sights.
I'll be one of the ROs for this shoot, but would be happy to introduce you to some of the F-Class guys if you do come out. If you want to wait until the following week we're running Nationals from the 13-15th and we'll have 110 F'ers from across Canada, the US, and GB, including many of the best in the world.

I'm slowly building up my skill level to compete with you f'ers. But I'm slowly realizing, I'm just going to be a f'ing f'er. Which is kinda cool. My wife has been calling me a f'er for like 5 or 6 years now. So maybe I'll fit in?
