I lived in Japan for two years from 03-04. I went to a Kaiten Sushi bar 5 days a week near my apartment. Those are the places that have the conveyor belt of sushi plates rolling by your stool and you pay a set price for every plate. The cute little nervous hostess counting the plates at the end. I used to stack them two feet high. The sushi chefs would get all excited when I walked in because they marvelled at how much I could eat. I was like Godzilla walking in there - they loved it.
