Service Rifle (SR) Match Info: CFB Borden

Matches:
-based on CAFSAC matches 11, 13, 14.
-distance: 100 - 500 yd/m
-matches will consist of: deliberate, snaps, rapids, movers, movement with fire.
-firing positions: prone, kneeling, standing
-same rifle must be used for the whole competition
You will need to bring :
- a lunch, liquids, snacks
- 3 pens, plus a pen for registration
- a safe, reliable, zeroed carbine / rifle
- bolt action are welcome
- gun oil, CLP etc
- scope, iron sights all one class
- mags, enough to have 50 rds loaded eg. 10 x 5/30 or 6 x 5/30 and 2 LAR 10 rd
- stripper clips and mag charger
- LAR mags are allowed, full cap
- tac vest or webbing or mag pouches to carry all the above
- small binos, or spotting scope for the 500 yd/m.
- mandatory hearing and eye protection
- camera

Directions to Amiens Range, CFB Borden
Directions from 400 north, TO:
- 400 north from TO
- exit Hwy 89 west Cookstown
- west to Alliston
- in Alliston, at T junction, turn north, you’ll see a Dairy Queen on SW corner
- From Alliston proceed North on CR-15 to the Borden Gate
- You are now on Ortona Road, KEEP heading north for appx 2.3km.
- TURN WEST (left) at the FIRE Station, You are now on Range Road.
- Drive appx 4.6 km to gate # 6, Amiens range is on the north side.
Current ORA guest policy:
The ORA allows guests to participate in all events. This is a one-time visit as a guest, then membership is required. The one-time visit is to a single ORA event regardless of discipline. A $35 guest fee will be applied, plus the applicable entry fee.
