I have an Orbea Hermanos .38 top break action revolver that has a broken main spring. I am hoping that someone may have a parts gun that they would be willing to sell the main spring.
Sorry for the crude drawing but was I born handsome not talented it looks something like this.

You're dealing in rare stuff, I'm afraid. Try Gun Parts Corp. or Jack First in the US. You might also try Googling to see if anyone anywhere deals in parts for Spanish revolvers.
Good luck with it. You (or the gunsmith of your choice) might wind up having to make one.

I figure my chances are pretty slim of finding one but it doesn't cost me anything to try.
I have been reading up on how to make my own and that looks like the route I may have to go.
Thanks for the leads I will check them out.

I don't know if the dimensions would work for you, but I once made a similar looking spring (no hook on the short leg, though) out of a binder clip. Good spring steel. It didn't feel like the original, but it worked.

have you done the research into what that pistol is a clone of .. these guys I don't produced anything they designed but copied lots .. maybe a spring from what was cloned might work and be easier to find

Yes I have and the original Smith & Wesson uses a different spring system..........great minds and all that.
