Order of Operation? Pistol Break In > Sight In > Ammo choice?

what kinda question is this ? of course your first shot will also be with the intent to see where the bullet is going and adjust it so you're sighted in...? if that changes during break in, which would not be much, you'll notice and then again asjust accordingly..
you're not just shooting for fun to break in and be shooting the ground...

if I didn't check my brand new STI on the first shot, I would have went to a level 2 match shootin 4"left & 2"south....

Q. So would the all purpose Silicone from CanTire be fine?

Q. Feel free to laugh at this one: Is adding Silicone to my front sights count as "Modification" in IPSC competitions? I plan to compete in Production. Obviously it is not performance enhancing - more equipment protecting.
