Order Status Definitions

Hey Ryan,

I've been checking the status of my order on and off.

I'm wondering what 'Processing' means. Does it mean that it's 'shipped'?

So far I've only seen 'Pending','Processing' ... what others are there?

Processing is listed just before shipped, but there is a really good chance that it's already shipped as they process and ship alot faster than the site updates. Your in good hands, so no worries.

Hey Thanks guys. I was just wondering how many different Statuses they have. Chemist or I believe Ryan has sent me a PM already and asked what the order number is and said they're look it up.

It was probably three for pre sale. Description says its a presale. They arrive this morning. I hope to start shipping by the afternoon.
 
Come on Ryan, I will provide you with a copy of the new software we are looking at, it allows the vendor to track an order moment by moent and send an e mail to the buyer.

Example; John just read your e mail, 10:eek:o hrs
John just sent the order to processing 10:02 hrs
Harry now has your order 10:03 hrs will process shortly
Harry now has time to pick your order 11:45hrs
Harry has stopped working on your order lunch time 12:00hrs
Harry is back from lunch and is working on your order 13:03 hrs
Harry has finished picking your order and left it at the shipping desk 13:45hrs
Gerry has received your order and will proceed with preparing it for shipment 13:47hrs
Gerry has finished packing your order and forwarded the paperwork to invoicing 14:15hrs
Mary has the paperwork for your order and is preparing the invoice and bill of lading 14:17 hours
Mary has finished preparing the paperwork and released you shipment on BL ####### 14:20hrs
Your order is being carried by Canada Post, your tracking ############# 14:22hrs
The name of the postman in your area will be provided as well as the exact day and hour of delivery....
Should the delivery estimate be out by more than 10 minutes you will receive a full refund

What do you think Ryan ? Of course all your employees will have to wear GPS locators as well as all your carriers this way customers can trace their order every second of the day....

Just like the Post Office tracking system.....;)
 
It's an excellent idea. Unfortunately it won't work every day. You see Tuesday is Topless Tuesday in shipping and there will be no place for the girls to put the GPS locator.
