ordered a M305

...btw, don't worry about the windage knob. You want it to be nice and tight. Besides, you can adjust the tension on it later.
As long as it holds position under recoil.

Now you just need some E-Lander 10 round mags and a Blackfeather stock (really, really cool piece of kit)

If they sold the same rifle/same quality for $100 I would buy a few.

Otherwise, a Springfield for me.

Yes I know what they cost, but I also know you get what you pay for.

I installed a Sadlak spring guide, and Sadlak op rod spring. I also ordered a Sadlak non grooved piston for standard NATO loads and a grooved Sadlak piston for 165grain and above for hand loads. Many US Marines on the match rifle teams swear that just by changing out and testing various gas pistons can have a huge effect on accuracy. Nobody know why just works, maybe it has to do with the gun Gods. Good luck with your shooter and have fun. Read everything U can about the rifle on the net. Some of it is accurate and some is hooey. You will have to determine for yourself what is correct and incorrect by applying your own experience.

These days the newer ChiCom rifles are as good if not better than the Springfields. The Norincos have a forged receiver the Springfields have cast. The Springfields do however have a very good replacement on parts policy.

I've got 3 e-lander m10 mags ordered already. S&J are out of stock on op rod springs and guides so i will have to wait a couple weeks for those.
