Ordered a new 725 Sporting.

I decided on and ordered a Citori 725 Sporting with adjustable comb and 30" barrels. I see they come with 3 different style trigger shoes. The catalog lists them as wide checkered, narrow smooth and wide smooth canted. Are the different style shoes designed for finding the best user fit or would they each be designed for a different shooting application?

Congratulations on ordering an excellent shotgun! The trigger shoes are for personal preference. Swap them out to find what feels best for you, it's a nice feature

Pick the trigger shoe that is most comfortable for you. I prefer the wide checkered trigger myself, and I change out the bead to the small white bead, as I find the hi viz beads distracting. I have four 725s, and am very pleased with them all.

Just for personal preference. When I shot a Browning I used the wide smooth in the warm months but liked the wide checkered in the winter months when I was wearing gloves.

Thanks, I'm looking forward to getting it next week sometime! This will be my second 725. I have the field model which I love. I have just recently gotten back into the shooting games and figured this would fit into the cabinet nicely.

I prefer the narrow smooth trigger, I ground the "hump" off the bottom edge, no idea what that was all about.
