I hope it turns out to be a good pistol. I inquired on here about it before and only got one response. Anyone else have one? At $229 there is not alot or risk involved.

The trigger guard is a tool....
Actually pulling back on the trigger guard racks the slide for you so you could use the gun one handed, that is if you can figure out how to get a mag in with one hand.

I heard that the grips are prone to breaking. One guy started a thread about how after 3000+ rounds, he thinks the chamber has a hairline crack. People say they like the sights.

I'm a sucker for the weird/cheap Norks. Did you order it from Marstar? Let us know how the service is from them. Very mixed reports lately.

You know, just about every Norinco I've owned has been a good gun and a good shooter.

They look horrible out of the box with all the lube smeared everywhere, but once you give them a good cleaning, they do OK.

I typically change the recoil spring on the hand-guns.

Are you saying that owners SHOULD manufacture replacement wood grips? Are the plastic ones that fragile? I think some laminate grips would make it look way better.

damn, & I thought I was too hard on my grips. Two of them seemed to chip at the same place (Bottom - by the mag well).
Yes,exactly the same place as mine.It would be nice if we could find some aftermarket ones.

I suspect that you could make a cast from the ones you have and make your own out of fiberglass.

Yup, i'll get right on that.

Step 1: Fire up kiln
Step 2: Prepare mould plate
Step 3: Get sand / clay mould ready
Step 4: ....
