GUSHULAK;
"In all respect to Marstar, if you get that busy, why not hire some more staff "
While I do appreciate your frustration and your simple solution to our problem....
I would like to point out a couple of facts;
We are a rural operation, we are in the middle of nowhere, otherwise we would not have the licenses and facilities that we enjoy here.
Being outside a main city or town of any consequence we do not have a large labour pool to draw from.
While some of our employees now live within a 10-15 minute drive we have people who drive 100km to and fom here every day.
In addition Marstar hires only reputable and knowledgeable people, would you want it any other way ?
We pay way above the "going rate". As well our people must have a security clearance and be registered with CG because of some material we deal in and contracts we have.
In short it is very difficult to find the employees we need.
We are always looking for qualified additions to our team, if anyone out there feels so inclined, e mail me your resume,
john@marstar.ca
What do we require ?
Fluent in either French or English, bilingualism an asset.
Must be motivated, a self starter and discreet.
Very important, must be able to work as part of a team.
Must have a valid PAL,
Must be able to pass a security screening with CG.
Must be computer literate, Word, Wordperfect, various e mail programs, Excel, etc.
Must have an extensive knowledge of small arms which includes handguns, rifles, shotguns and automatic weapons.
Must have at least a basic knowledge of munitions.
Be able to discuss and recommend accessories, etc, with clients.
Do you think you would fit in at Marstar ?
I look forward to hearing you
John
