ordered new 1911

hey guys
well I finlally made up my mind yesterday and ordered the GSG 1911 AD-OPS Tactical handgun.
I was reading all your posts and was on the fence but realized that my .45 is great I can spend more time at range with my new pruchase as its more inexpensive to shoot.
next purchase will be something in 9mm , maybe ??

wel I'm off today and spending the day with my wife when my phone rang and it was Al Flaherty's calling to let me know my ATT has arrived and I can come down and pick up my NEW GSG 1911, so I quickly got dressed and went and picked it up.
I have to say without shooting it yet I'm very impressed. Feels good in my hand and is very easy to take apart.
only thing is it won't fit my serpra holster with the rail installed ...weird
can't believe how quick paperwork was processed.. I ordered thursday morning so less then 7 days and its in my hands...hats off to ontario CFO office.
I do have a question to those who have and use for drills ..what kind of drills are you doing ....Import stated he was but I thought about it and its a single action so to pull from holster and discharge it would have to be already in firing position , correct?
anyone have a video showing this?
I have trained with revolvers and pulling from holster when I did my restricted course back in the day
anyways to those who are on the fence on getting one of these go for it.
its almost same weight as my .45
