Is their anyone business that can get a barrel from numrich arms . they have a 1890 winchester 22 barrel and i need it to complete my 22 restoration.....if anyone can help me .

I used profit river to import a navy luger barrel, ended up costing about $90 CND.
You just have they fill in a simple 1 page form and have them ship it to the FFL profit river uses (Washington State), so they don't have to deal with the ITAR rules profit river FFL does all that.

If you're talking about one of the new hex barrels that Numrich sells for the 1890 , keep in mind that they are not tapered like the original Winchester . If it is a used original barrel , disregard previous statement .

Contact irunguns they can do it however I believe you will pay more than the $90 cdn that big_e mentioned prophet river charged

Prophet River makes the import process easy and at a reasonable cost. Custom match barrels were a $100-$110 fee to them. Do ensure your seller packages the barrel very well, and request pictures of the packaging if possible. The last barrel I brought in got damaged in shipping, somebody didn't re-pack it properly. It could have been Border Agents (likely, they wouldn't care about packing), or maybe the Import Agent in the States messed up, I'll never know for sure. What I do know is that I'm out a barrel I waited 8 months to get :( Canada Post just took it from me for the insurance claim.

It was $50 for importing the barrel and then tax's and shipping

I was lucky as the front sight was already attached to the barrel so there just one charge, I understand that if the front sight is separate there and additional charge as it has to be on it own line for us customs export.

When dealing with small US FFL you need to be careful, as the FFL I was dealing with was just going to ship it directly to me in the post.

I had to explain the ITAR rules and regulations to him and decided it was best if I just got the part shipped to profit river's FFL and had them correctly handle the paperwork.
I have to travel to the US for work from time to time and it was not worth it to me to have him unknowingly break the ITAR export rules, even though this would not be an offence in Canada, you could end up being flagged by US Border control if they spot the barrel being shipped at the border with my full name and address on it. So spending $90 to do it correctly seemed the best course of action.

i just talked to numrich and they will ship to profit rivers ffl address.so today when i get home from the salt mine i will do the paperwork.......and wait 8-12 weeks ..lol

Its rare to take that long. 4-6 weeks its closer lately, however, approval can get delayed at USA tate department so we list it as 8-12 weeks just in case.
