I'm looking to add a Mauser 98 to the collection and am considering both the Standard and Magnum variants.
I'd like for it to be chambered in a European, big-game worthy caliber but am yet undecided in this regard.
Considering 7x57, 8x57, 9.3x62, 375HH and 416 Rigby.
Which would be the quintessential chambering for a Mauser rifle today? Which would you go with?
