Yes ,I'm aware of that.
It's a really good price for a vx3i,even in US dollars.
I'm just wondering if they just ship it directly to me from the US, or do it have to go to a Canadian Bass Pro and then to me.
I ordered from basspro.com. RCBS rockchucker supreme set about 5 years ago. I got hit with shipping, duties and taxes on top of a bad exchange rate but it was still $200 less than anywhere in Canada. Unfortunately since it's a scope you are looking at you will need it exported properly which will add significant cost and time. Basspro is unlikely to bother.
I ordered a scope from bass pro in Rocky View Alberta a few years back. They had a sale on Leupold scopes in their own Canadian flyer called the store to make the order, gave my credit card number and it was about $15 to ship to Manitoba. It arrived in a couple days. Avoided all import fees and duties, it was effortless to do.
