Anyone successfully order anything from their website?

I'ver tried 5-6 times so far.

Wouldn't let me checkout my items, wouldn't give me shipping options, wouldn't accept Province for billing info.

Anyone dealt with them before or am I just mildly computer challenged? ;)

I had the same trouble last year........finally phoned, they took my order and CC over the phone and had me looked after very quickly.

You cannot export reloading components of any kind from the U.S. Reloading kit is ok though. Hence, Buffalo Arms doesn't export.
If you had brass shipped to a U.S. address then brought it across, you violated U.S. Federal law. U.S. Customs is well known for doing random spot checks of out going Canadian vehicles for just such stuff.

They have known issues with their website, been that way for some time, and it doesn't seem to be a priority to fix it. Best and fastest way to order is by phone. Great company to deal with. Just remember to tell them ship USPS only, the cheapest option there is.

Just got off the phone with Buffalo Arms.
My account was fixed over the phone, order processed, and the fella told me they use USPS for Canadians as they've heard Fedex shafts us.

Great service.

They will ship shotgun brass cases as well as wads, overshot cards etc.

I buy stuff from them all the time via their website. Interestingly a year or two ago they stopped sending my stuff via USPS and started using FedEx. I asked them about it and they told me that they'd switched to FedEx for all Canadian orders! It'd be great to get USPS service again.

Btw, you can still order brass from them, but you have to use an importing service like Prophet River. It adds to the cost, but is sometimes the only way to go for hard to get brass.

Chris.

They're a great outfit to deal with. Shop with confidence.

Last order from them was about a year ago, IIRC. That was USPS. Are you sure they won't ship USPS if requested?

Edit: their website still offers global express mail for international orders.

Oh they will ship USPS if requested, I usually specify that, but last time I forgot, and got the FedEx bone. Won't make that mistake again.

I don't think there is any of the assorted daft laws that are as daft as the U.S. export laws. Shotgun stuff is controlled by the U.S. Dept of Commerce, while metallic stuff is controlled by their State Dept and ITAR.

Just an update.

Package arrived yesterday, packed very very well, and shipped by USPS. :)

Definitely will be ordering from them again.
