ordering from Lee online site

Has anyone ordered from their website? I need a couple of case length gauges that aren't regularly stocked items- .375 Ruger and a custom gauge in 6mm-06.

I've spoken with a Canadian distributor (Higginson) as recommended by Lee but Higginson has suggested that it should be done directly with Lee...

Have any of you ordered from the Lee website and did you order anything custom from them? Was it a fairly smooth process?

I've only used their customer service a couple times with no issues. Titan Reloading and FS Reloading are both authorized Lee retailers and keep good stock on hand. 99% of the time, one or the other has everything I want instock. Both are US sites but their prices are so low its still often cheaper after shipping and currency exchange. Just make sure you use USPS shipping unless you like paying double or more the original quote in a time sensitive ransom-like situation.
 
can i suggest that if you need to buy custom lee stuff, maybe you should buy standard stuff from other companies.
 
+1 on Titan.

And yes, they can handle your custom/special order stuff.

They are great to deal with, will ship USPS so you don't go broke getting it shipped and sell everything at a discount compared to msrp.

I should have bought more from them when the buck was at par (I mean like every caliber I thought I might own some day :) )
 
I've only ordered the odd broken thing from customer service, never anything custom. Small individual parts like decappers and things are usually all instock at Titan and FS. For custom things I think going direct to Lee would be best?
 
As stated above, Titan Reloading are great to deal with,.. I have never ordered anything custom from them, but I'm sure they can help you out, either by getting you what you need or pointing you in the the right direction for getting it.
