Ordering from the US ... ?

I want to order a sks sear and spring kit at Murray's in texas.

The website proclaim to ship world wide, but i'm a bit nervous about those parts failling to cross the border and ending up losing my money

Anyone had good/bad experience buying in the US ??
 
As long as you are under $100 you are fine. usual $10 brokerage fee + GST/HST on top. Just make sure they ship to Canada.

Above $100 you must fill a ####load of paperwork to export from US and sellers simply don't ship to Canada. Not worth their time.

For big ticket items use IRG, Brownells if they have items in stock. Or any other crossborder importer for not in stock items (3rd party import). importers usually charge a fee, which varies.

P.S. I think I saw canadian retailer selling those SKS items, can't remember the name, they also sell the spring for the firing pin.
