i just got my pal with the restricted class, i just bought a 92fs from a local store and now looking around i feel like i paid too much, $1150 after taxes. i want to buy my next pistol online, i was looking at the norinco 1911, and was wondering how the transfer would work? does the store take care of the ATT and just ship the firearm to me directly? is there any other fees i should know about besides shipping?

Taxes plus shipping, they'll ship it straight to your door. Any of the fine sponsors at the top of the page are good choices. Personally I've dealt with Questar and Canada Ammo, Can Am sells the Norinco pistols, I'd say they are a good choice if they currently have any.

The store does the transfer. They don't need an STATT to mail it to you, and you don't need an STATT to take the package from the post office to your home, so it's less hassle to order online. You will need an LTATT to shoot it if you don't have one already.
