Ordering reloading equipment

Go and try it now,I used to be able to get dies from them a while back, but almost everything is now restricted, it states will not ship to your address, when you go to the checkout after you verify your shipping address. I tried a Cabelas tumbler, RCBS dies and Lyman DPS ll powder dispenser last night, all are listed as restricted to a Canadian Address and will not let you complete the order. You can add stuff to your shopping basket to see which will make it through, but very little reloading stuff is now allowed. The only dies it will let through were the Redding.

So they have good taste in dies then?
Tried it myself, and could not even order a scope!

About a year ago, seems like you could order a lot more. Scopes are on the taboo list. My last order about 2 months ago, I just ordered some manuals, Redding necksizing die, and some other small stuff. Most of the things I wanted they would not ship. Its too bad. When was living in the USA for 5 years, they were awesome to order thru.

I have been ordering from Midsouth Shooters Supply for well over 10 years and they have been great to deal with. They got burned by foriegn credit cards too many time so your first few orders have to be by money order, once you have been dealing with them for a while you can use credit cards as I do. The only problem now is that some items are controlled by the US government so they have to play by the rules, mainly with reloading components, but dies, presses, powder measures etc are still good to go.

Zulu Mike: you make no mention of the girls on the other end that talk funny....I've never had to use a money order for Mid South....Maybe it's be cause I chat the girls up, I invite them up to Canada but they don't know where it is!! I tell them its north of them and they say " is that like up in New York State somewhere?"

I conducted the transaction through email only, but will try to "chat them up" next time so I can use my credit card.
