Original Colt SAA finishes

What were the original finishes Colt SAA revolvers came in around 1880 - 1900? I know nickel was one, was straight blued another choice or was is blued with a color case hardened frame? I have also seen ones that appear to have both nickel and blued parts.

I believe the standard finish was the same as most arms of the period, blue with colour case.
